Martin qualified with a BSc Hons degree in Physiotherapy in 2014 from Oxford Brookes University. Prior to this he spent several years coaching cricket to children alongside his studies. Since qualifying with his degree, Martin has worked for the NHS in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation and most recently in outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy, specialising in rehabilitation for people with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Over the years he has gained a vast amount of experience from treating these patients and has developed his hands on treatment skills. He particularly enjoys treating knees and shoulders. Outside of work and studying, Martin was a keen cricket player for many years representing South East Hampshire. He has also played tennis since a young age, and more recently has been playing regular 5-a-sde football. Martin enjoys watching and participating in most sports, and is a big fan of Southampton FC. In early 2016 Martin completed a 100km walk from London to Brighton in 25 hours for charity, he has also completed other charity fundraising events.
